Collection: Oily skin

Under each pore is a sebaceous gland that produces a natural oil called sebum, it keeps the skin moist and healthy. But when the glands produce too much oil, the skin can become too oily and greasy. Sometimes you can see large and prominent pores that tend to get blackheads and pimples. Breakouts are more likely to occur because sebum and dead skin cells get trapped in the pores.

To get rid of excess fat, it is good to use mild skin care products and deep cleansers. It is preferable to nourish the skin with moisturizing ingredients. If the skin does not get enough moisture and nutrition, it starts to produce more fat as a protective wall. Thus the vicious cycle continues. Avoid very oily creams that contain substances such as shea butter, coconut oil and various mineral oils. To to get rid of dead skin particles, it is good to use a mild acid in liquid form, e.g. glycolic acid or salicylic acid, once or twice a week.

It is good to clean the skin in the evening and in the morning with a mild cleanser. In the evening, you can also do double cleansing. Make-up and sunscreen are first removed from the skin with a light oil cleanser, the skin is then rinsed and cleansed again with a deep cleanser that removes fat from the surface of the skin.

A light and watery moisturizer containing hyaluronic acid is recommended (hyaluronic acid) and vitamin C. The properties of vitamin C include, among other things, attracting moisture to skin cells, thus keeping the moisture level in balance and thus preventing the overproduction of oil in the sebaceous glands.
